Operation is the element from the path (process form) of each product, it is defined by the resource where it is run, type of operation, preparation time (Setup), operation time for a specific lot, overlap time and breakdown time.

This register is fundamental for the Production Planning and Control, it allocates the needs for production, resources (machines or system operators) and a foreseen schedule.

Tools Allocation

To server some of the companies that use tools in its operation paths, the System provides the field Tool Allocation Time, that allows to allocate three different moments:

  • During the setup

The tool is allocated only in the operation setup, remaining available for usage by other operations after running the setup of the production order. If there is no setup for the entered resource, the tool will not be allocated.

  • During the Operation

The tool is allocated to the resource only for the duration of the operation.

  • During the setup + Operation

The tool is allocated to the resource during the running period of the production order (setup time + operation).

Operation CheckList

To supply to the Anvisa specifications regarding trackability and machine hygiene control, it is possible to enable the option Operation CheckList in Related Actions. To enable it, setup the parameter MV_CHKOPER

Procedures

Adding operations:

  1. In maintaining the Operation , select Add.

The system displays the add screen.IF V119

2. Notice the division of the screen in tabs under on the screen, where:

  • Alternative Resources/ Secondary
  • Alternative ToolsEND

3. Fill in data according to field help instructions.

Check out the following field completion:

  • Final Time

To make these changes, in Machine Load, to supply companies to enter occupation paths after allocating a resource, (fixed time disregarding quantity), keeping, therefore, the resource allocated after its real occupation (setup time + standard time). Therefore, the fixed occupation time is considered on allocating resources on processing machine load.

Therefore, at adding operations, in case this need exists, enter on this field the time needed for using this resource.

In case the field End Time does not exist or is blank, the occupation time port-operation is considered to be 0 (zero).

  • Operation Type

The operation time influences the calculation of allocation time in Machine Load. The following types of operation can be registered:

  • Normal Time: apply a three rule to define the operation duration time.

Example: if the manufacture time of one part is one hour, manufacturing two parts will require two hours.

  • Fixed Time: apply a fixed time, disregarding the number of parts to be manufactured.

Example: time is specify in two hours to manufacture 1000 parts.

  • Unlimited Time: like Fixed Time, apply time disregarding the number of parts to be produced.

Example: time is specified in three hours to produce 5000 parts.

  • Minimum Time: apply a minimum time for each entered quantity as standard lot.

Example: for a lot where manufacturing 100 parts takes one hour, manufacturing 110 parts will require two hours. Therefore, manufacturing 110 parts or 200 parts will require the same amount of time because of the set minimum manufacturing time.

4. The field Script has a Standard Query accessible by the magnifying glass next to the field.

5. Check and Confirm data.

Shop Floor Integration

With the integration, the field Work Center becomes mandatory.

By adding or editing an operation route, all operations are validated, checking if the resource belongs to the work center enter. If any resource does not belong to WC, an alert message is displayed and you may proceed.

It also checks if the alternative/secondary resources belong to the same operation WC of which is related.

If an alternate route is entered, processing is interrupted, because this information is not treated while integration with Shop Floor.

Procedures

Operations with Shop Floor Integration:

  1. In Operation Maintenance, the system displays all existing operations.
  2. When SIGASFC is activated, whenever an operation is included/edited, the Resource that belongs to the entered Work Center will be validated.
  3. When SIGASFC is activated, Alternate/Secondary Resources must be of the same Operation Worker Code.
