Up to the last day of each month, the participants of the program must generate the DIEF - Economic-Tax Information Declaration concerning the operations of the previous month, through the electronic system made available by Municipal Finance Secretariat on Internet (http://dief.rio.rj.gov.br).

Record Type 01 - General File Information (header)

For this register, information is generated through the period entered when the magnetic file is generated and the parameter Taxpayer City Registration is filled out.

Record Type 02 - Line of register of table of tax documents issued.

For this register, information is generated through Tax Records and Electronic AIDF Register.

Record Type 03 - Line of register of table of items of tax documents issued.

For this record, information is generated through Tax Records.

Record Type 04 - Line of register with the total value of the tax document issued.

This register informs the total value of the tax document issued; information is generated through Tax Records.

Record Type 05 - Line of register of table of tax documents received.

For this register, information is generated through Tax Records; tax documents received are considered.

Record Type 08 - Line of register of table of tax documents canceled.

For this register, information is generated through Tax Records only with canceled outflow tax documents, since the authenticator requires that invoices entered in this register should be also entered in Register 2, 3 and 4 - Issued Documents.

Record Type 09 - Line of register of table of items of tax documents canceled.

For this register, information is generated through Tax Records; tax documents canceled are considered.

Record Type 10 - Line of register with the total value of the tax document canceled.

This register informs the total value of the tax document canceled; information is generated through Tax Records.

Record Type 11 - File End

This register contains the total of lines, with the inclusion of registers 01 (header) and 11 (footer).
