The quality is controlled through evaluation of Product Register, Binding Product X Suppliers, parameters of Configurator module, of TIO and TM used in operations.

Procedures

For the system to evaluate when a product must be sent to quality control in its production or receipt, you must:

If Inflow Inspection module is used, the material is sent to the warehouse defined in parameter MV_CQ. However, all the control is performed in Inflow Inspection module, and no material can be released or rejected through QC Write-off of modules Purchases and Inventory/Costs.

• In field QC Productions, in case the company also works with production (modules Inventory/Costs and PPC), you must define the production interval to be considered when sending the product to QC (Production Skip-Lot). For example, if 10 is the number informed, 1 out of 10 productions is sent to QC.
• In the field Lot Contr. of Product x Supplier Binding register, define the frequency of product inspection by Quality Control for a specific supplier (Purchase Skip-Lot) upon material receipt when the product grade is greater than or equal to the supplier evaluation grade, if you want to control material sent to Q.C. by Skip-lot.
• If you want to control material dispatch to QC through the grade, in field Grade of Product x Supplier binding register, define a supplier evaluation Grade.

You do not need to fill out this field when the material sent to QC was inspected by Quality Protheus modules.

• In Inbound Document, use a TIO that updates stock.

Thus, each product has a minimum score for the quality control. While entering the inbound invoice, an evaluation is made between the Product x Supplier binding and the product score.

If the binding score is less than the product score, this material lot is sent to the quality control warehouse (informed in parameter MV_CQ). If the binding score reaches the product minimum score, this material lot goes through the Skip-Lot evaluation process.

• In Production, use a Movement Type with Sending to QC.

You can view the transfer to the quality control Warehouse in the Product query.

• The product evaluation must be registered by QC Write-off. A row must be included to register the release or rejection.
