To search a knowledge, the system provides the Advanced Search option, which allows search based on name, description, or a key word of the object.

Procedures

To search a knowledge:

1. In the routine select Search.

A screen is displayed to select the search type.

2. Using the option Normal, user can run a standard Microsiga Protheus® search as described in Operation Standard help.

3. Click Advanced to search a knowledge.

The system displays the advanced search screen.

4. Fill the filters and click Search .

The search is done.

5. To view the object searched, right click the line and select View.

The system displays the screen containing the data regarding the object.

6. To view the object, click Open Object.

The system opens the file.

7. To view the object, the user must have in his computer the application necessary to open this file. For example, .doc files can be opened only if the user has Word® installed.

8. Click OK to finish the search.
