By default, the document types that have the option “Use internal Viewer?” in their properties are shown in the internal viewer or default player, and you can perform certain actions on these documents.

• It will open in the player when it is a video (related extensions: OGG, MP4, WEBM, AVI, WMV).
• The other documents will be opened in the Platform ❙ Internal viewer (the full list with of supported extensions can be found in the About Fluig Viewer technical documentation).

If the document extension is not supported by the viewer or player, when the document is selected to be viewed, it is downloaded to be displayed in an application compatible with its extension.

Users can choose not to use the internal viewer when opening documents. This preference must be defined in the document properties.

The document properties screen displays document data, such as: properties such as description, author and creation date, among other information, version/review Approval History. Click here for more information on viewing document properties.

The social information screen shows information such as comments in the document, users that support the document, and sharing status. Click here for more details on social information.

Clicking this option opens a window in which you can confirm the document check out. See Platform ❙ Checking out a document for more information.

This feature allows you to share folders or documents available in the document browsing structure with communities or other users. See Platform ❙ Share folder or document for more information.

The directing link to the document is copied to the transfer area, allowing it to be shared in other locations, such as documents, tools, e-mails, etc.. See Platform ❙ Share folder or document for more information.

This feature allows you to print copies of documents that are controlled. See Platform ❙ Print a controlled copy of a document for more information.

If the document has a watermark set in its properties and the authenticated user has permission to edit the document, in addition to the download option (with the watermark), they will also be presented with the option Original Download option, where the original document file can be obtained, without a watermark. This also applies to documents that have received add-ons, so that the original file can be obtained.
