Concept

Use this feature to managerially register the value of an asset being formed. Its functionality is similar to that of Asset Type 10 - Managerial, yet you should only use it when the asset form includes an Asset Type 03 - Advance.

Just as asset type 03, type 13 - Managerial Advance does not undergo depreciation in monthly calculation and in asset posting.

Routines Used

Assets Register (ATFA010):

You can configure the information required for management control of an asset being formed.

The following rules apply to Asset Type 13 - Managerial Advance:

  • This is the managerial control of an Asset being formed, so that its tax control is exercised through Asset Type 03 - Advance.
  • This asset type allows more than one balance type, but only one record for the Asset Type + Balance Type


Advance Payment Posting (ATFA040):

You cannot perform this operation when a form has Type 13 - Management Advance, because you need to use routine Acquisition by Transfer (ATFA251).


Acquisition by Transfer (ATFA251):

The acquisition by transfer process converts the asset from Type 13 - Managerial Advance to Type 10 - Managerial when generating the new finalized asset.

Using routine Acquisition by Transfer (ATFA251) allows only the full posting of advance

Utilization Procedures

  • Addition of form of advance fixed asset with management control:
  1. In Fixed Asset (SIGAATF) module, with the Fixed Asset environment already configured, access Updates/Registers/Assets.
  2. Add a fixed asset form.
  3. Fill out fields in accordance with field help instructions.
  4. Add a line with asset type 03 - Advance and fill out the fields in accordance with field help instructions.
  5. Add a line with asset type 13 - Management Advance and fill out the fields in accordance with field help instructions.


  • Fixed asset copy with entered managerial margin:
  1. In Fixed Asset (SIGAATF) module, with the Fixed Asset environment already configured, access Updates/Registers/Assets.
  2. Select the fixed asset form and click the option Copy, in Related Features, in Assets Registration (ATFA012).
  3. Edit one or more key fields of the fixed asset form.
  4. Check the data and confirm the operation.


  • Posting of fixed asset form with entered managerial margin, starting from asset type 13 - Managerial Advance:
  1. In Fixed Asset (SIGAATF) module, with the Fixed Asset environment already configured, access Updates/Transactions/Posting.
  2. Select asset of type 13 - Managerial Advance, of fixed asset form and click
  3. Enter the data required to post the fixed asset form.
  4. Check the data and confirm the operation.

 

  • Acquisition by transfer with fixed assets that have asset type 13 - Managerial Advance:
  1. In Fixed Asset (SIGAATF) module, with the Fixed Asset environment already configured, access Updates/Transactions/by Transf (ATFA251).
  2. In the routine browser, click
  3. Fill out required information in the parameter screen and confirm it.
  4. On the screen for fixed asset code gap information, enter and confirm the data.
  5. When assets are displayed for selection, choose the fixed asset form.
  6. Check folder Apportionment Totals, line Original Value with Type equal to 10 (Managerial), to make sure the apportionment value matches the sum of assets of type 13 - Managerial Advance.
  7. Fill out the process information, as already known by the routine.
  8. Check the data and confirm the operation.
