Balance Parameters (CTBA130 - SIGACTB)

Two parameters are used to handle the time when simple and compound are updated so that the update does not undermine the performance of the system:

MV_SLDCOMP

The Compound Balance is NEVER updated Online because its update depends only on Managerial reports which may not even be used by the company structure. This type of balance can be updated at two different times:

• When issuing reports that use them (the content of the parameter must be Y).
• It is only updated when the routine Compound Balances of the menu Miscellaneous (the content of the parameter must be N) is executed.

Note: Reprocessing redoes the Compound Balances irrespective of the parameter MV_SLDCOMP content.

MV_ATUSAL

This parameter tells the system whether the Basic Balances are updated Online, when typing accounting entries or by a Batch process.

• To update the Basic Balances during the Accounting Entry, enter its content with Y.
• To update the Basic Balances through the routine Compound Balances of the menu Miscellaneous or through reports, enter its content as N.

Note: Reprocessing redoes the Basic Balances irrespective of the parameter MV_ATUSAL.
