Instruments
The instruments selected for the measurement are automatically copied to remaining measurements. In case some instrument is not used in measurement, it must be deleted from the instrument listing. Now the calibration and instrument family expiration date is checked.
This resource allows greater agility, easing measurement input. Access to this folder is unnecessary for instrument input. However, the copies are made from the first measurement only, which means however many instruments are entered in the first measurement will also be assigned to remaining measurements.
Upon consulting instrument, the system displays the latest revision listing, for selection. |
The instruments are classified.
Thus, you can enter which instruments were used in each performed measurement. Such instruments are checked through parameters:
| • | MV_QLINS |
Displays only instruments with expiration date equal or later than measurement date.
| • | MV_QLINS |
Among possible reports (1 = Rejected, 2 = Conditionally Approved, and 3 = Approved), as default, in case there is no parameter, only instruments with report = 3 are displayed.
In order to also display instruments with Report = 2, this parameter must be completed with 2/3, that is, the parameter content must be equal to the instrument report number(s) you wish displayed in result, separated by the \"/\" (slash).
The MV_QLINS parameter is taken into account when the MV_QPVLIN parameter equals Y (Yes). |
Procedures
To define the measurement instruments used for this test:
| 1. | Select Instrument and complete the fields according to Field Help instructions. |
If there is integration with the Metrology Environment, through the MV_QINTQMT parameter, the system performs several instrument checks in such environment. |
| 2. | Upon completing instrument related fields, check them and confirm measurement screen; |
The system returns to the Result Annotation screen.
