Pareto Chart

Pareto Charts are used to obtain a realistic perspective of the deeper problems of a product, sector, etc., presenting them in decreasing order of events, that is, in decision making priority order.

Procedures

To create a Pareto Chart:

1. In the Pareto Chart creation window, complete displayed parameters according to field help instructions, especially the following parameters:
From Lab?/To Lab:

Enter the lab code interval, to take the inflows they inspected into account when creating Pareto Chart.

Display the Others Column?

Select Yes to consider the Others Column, which indicates the smaller nonconformance events found when creating Pareto Chart, and display its data on the graph. Otherwise, only the greater nonconformances are considered to create the graph.

2. Upon confirming parameters, the system displays a screen for selection of tests attached to desired product.

Select and confirm them.

Important:

To select all tests, click the screen header's dark box, to the left of column corresponding to test codes.

3. Upon selection of tests, the system displays a screen for selection of nonconformance classes attached to such tests;

Select and confirm them.

Important:

To select all nonconformance classes, click the screen header's dark box, to the left of column corresponding to nonconformance codes.

4. Upon selection of test and nonconformance classes, the system selects needed data and subsequently displays Pareto Chart.

You can configure the displayed graph's color, lines, and axes.

5. Upon creating graph, you can print it;

Click Print button for the system to display a Print screen, in which you can also choose whether to print in color or not.

6. Subsequently, just configure printing, clicking on respective button, when the system displays the Windows® default printing configuration screen, according to the printing driver available in your equipment.
