E-mail Server

Users registered can send e-mails. Messages can be sent, for example, to notify about due action plans, remind about meetings, structure changes, etc. (this feature of sending e-mails is optional).

Procedures

To configure the e-mail server:

To use this feature, you must inform the e-mail server. In the Tools menu, option E-mail Server, indicate the following:

1. E-mail account: E-mail account to be used to send e-mails.
2. HTTP Server: Name or IP address of e-mail server (the SMTP protocol must be active in this server, otherwise Protheus® will not send e-mails.
3. SMTP Port: Number of the SMTP port configured in the e-mail server.
4. User and Password: User and password to be authenticated in the e-mail server, in case the SMTP server requires authentication to send e-mails.
5. Click Save.
