Index Calculation Procedures

Index calculation procedures involve several data, supplied by both system and user. Thus, to make this procedure's follow-up easier, you must have the Formulae Report in your possession, also to check calculations.

Important:

When IQP Factors are not used and are checked, the MV_QFATIQP parameter must be configured as F (false).

Prior to begining calculation, the following parameters are checked:

MV_QMESACU

Determine the maximum number of accumulated months to perform calculation.

MV_QQTDREJ

Determine whether the amount rejected in Rejection Report is accumulated.

MV_QDIAIPO

Determine the maximum number of days late for calculating IPO.

MV_QTRFREP

Determine whether amount transferred to Q.C. is considered a calculation demerit.

MV_QNAOCER

Determine whether the calculation takes skip-lot regimen certified inflows into account.

Procedures

To follow index calculation procedure, see the following topics:

1. First check the Quality Index Table (QEJ), in search of:
IA Table - Acceptance Indices, with the Table Code field (QEJ_CODTAB) equal to 1.
IQS Table - System Quality Index, with the Table Code field (QEJ_CODTAB) equal to 2.
2. The IQF Index Table (QF1), is checked after the IQF indices.
3. Subsequently, a search is conducted after the IQI, IPR e IQS indices.
4. In case items 1, 2 e 3 are not met, the calculation does not proceed.
5. If previous conditions are met, in file IQP (QED) Factors the 1 - Approved, 3 - Rejected, and 4 - Urgent Release are checked, selected in the Category (QED_CATEG) field.
6. All normal inflows performed in the period specified in the Reference Month, Reference Year, and Closing Day routine configuration parameters are checked, except those of processing and returns.
7. Thus, the system ignores inflows treated as exchanges, defined in Product X Supplier (SA5) file, in Fab/Rev/Perm (A5_FABREV) field equal to Y.
8. Monthly indices entered in IQF Index Registry (QF1) are calculated, with definition of Calc./Infor. field (QF1_CALC) equal to 1, as follows:
IQF Factor (QF1_FATQF) * Value (QE0_VALOR) - of Monthly Index Registry (entered)

The considered index must have values registered within the month, in the Monthly Index Registry (QE0). Otherwise, the calculation is interrupted.

9. At this moment, inflows lacking entered General Report are disregarded.
10. While the MV_QTRFREP parameter is configured as T (true ), the original Q.C. transfer inflows, defined in inflow file (QEK), by the Document Type (QEK_TIPDOC) field equal to TR - Transfer, are not computed.
11. The inflows for IQP Factors are added, according to report definitions. The inflows defined as Urgent Release are considered approved.
12. When the Report's rejected amount is greater than zero (0):
If content of MV_QTRFREP parameter equals T (true ) and the Document Type (QEK_TIPDOC) field equals TR - Transfer, the inspected quantity is subtracted, entered in Lot Size (QEL_TAMLOT) field in the Inflow Report file (QEL), of quantity accumulated with report equal to A - Approved;
Subsequently, for amount accumulated with original Report equal to A - Approved, the result obtained from subtraction of values entered in Lot Size (QEL_TAMLOT) and Amount Rejected (QEL_QTREJ) fields, where:

QEL_TAMLOT - QEL_QTREJ

The rejected quantity is normally accounted for, adding the value entered in Amount Rejected (QEL_QTREJ) to amount accumulated with report equal to E - Rejected;
The MV_QTRFREP parameter must be set for this type of calculation, so as to disregard the inflow transferred to Q.C. in the index calculation.
13. While the report's rejected amount equals 0 (zero), the accumulated amount with report equal to A - Approved, is added to value entered in Lot Size field (QEK_TAMLOT), in the Inflow file (QEK).
14. So, Inflow amounts are added in compound form, as follows: Supplier + Product + Month + Year, where:
Amount in skip-lot;
Inspected amount;
Rejected Quantity;
Inflow amounts to be demoted and, in this case, all having reports with categories other than 1 - Assured, defined in Situation field (A5_SITU), in the Product X Supplier (SA5).
15. Now, the value sum is performed for calculating the IPO - Delivery and Services Index, where:
In case the number of days late, determined in the Days Late field (QEK_DIASAT), of Inflow file (QEK), is greater than 0 (zero), the number of inflows is accounted for, with value defined in Lot Size field (QEK_TAMLOT) of Inflow file (QEK);
If the number of days late is smaller than defined in parameter MV_QDIAIPO, the accumulated value is the absolute value of the multiplication of Lot Size (QEK_TAMLOT) by the Days Late (QEK_DIASAT) fields:

QEK_TAMLOT * QEK_DIASAT

Otherwise, the absolute value is the multiplication of Lot Size (QEK_TAMLOT) by the MV_QDIAIPO parameter content:

MV_TAMLOT * QEK_QDIAIPO

16. Subsequently, the nonconformances identified in the inspected inflows are checked, and if defined in the IQI Demerit (QEU_DEMIQI) field definition in the Nonconformance Inflows file (QEU) for demerit as Y, they undergo demerit per class, according to point scale defined in the Nonconformance Class table (QEE).
17. Thus, the reported procedures of items 9 to 17 are repeated for all inflows selected per Product X Supplier (SA5).
18. Subsequently, calculations for the following indices are displayed:
IQP - Product Quality Index
IQI - Item Quality Index
IQS - System Quality Index
IPR - Price Variation Index
IES/IPO - Service Punctuality Index
IQF - Supplier Quality Index
19. Upon checking calculations, the Accumulated Indices (QEV) are saved with their respective accumulated values for IQP factors (reports).
