Extended Description
Attribute Description Mode
In this work mode, all original assets descriptions must be associated to new assets generated. The System displays a support screen to view and select the original descriptions associated to the new assets.
A new asset can have no, one or more original descriptions, at the end of it, all of them must be attributed so the operation is concluded.
| • | Asset code - Base code of the selected original asset that has extended description to be assigned. |
| • | Item - Item regarding the base code, comprising the identification key of the original selected asset. |
| • | Asset type - Item regarding the base code + item comprising the identification key of the original selected asset. |
| • | Acquisition sequence - Sequence regarding the base code + item + type, comprising the identification key of the original selected item. |
| • | Memo field - In this field, the extended description of the item selected in the grid of information typing is formed. |
In the Attribution mode, this field is, by default, inhibited so that the use uses the options Atribute, Not Attribute and Copy to form the description of the new asset.
If you use Edit option, field is enabled for typing, but option Unassigned is disabled once the routine cannot from memo field only the description of a specific origin asset without losing the information entered.
Not Consider Mode Description
In this work mode, descriptions of original assets are not taken into account, so the user is responsible for typing the descriptions for new assets using this guide.
The assets do not need to have descriptions as they can be provided later in Extended Descriptions.
The Memo Field (Extended Description) enables you to type the extended description for the new asset selected in the grid to type information.
In this work mode, the Memo field is free typing, since there is no control of attribution of the description of original assets.
