Transfer of Shares

This routine allows distribution and splitting of existing shares. Shares are transferred from one holder to another quite simply.

The system allows the user to select the number of shares to be transferred, maintaining the remaining ranges.

For example, a person who has a range of shares from 0000000000 - 0000002000, i.e., 2,000 shares.

This person can transfer to another holder the range of shares: 0000000501 - 0000000800.

When this happens, the holder is left with (out of the two thousand initial shares) the following ranges:

0000000000 - 0000000500 and 0000000801 - 0000002000

Procedures:

To transfer shares:

1. In the Share Maintenance window , select the shares that you wish to transfer and select Transfer;

The share transfer screen is displayed with fields divided in two groups:

• Source Data - Refers to the data of the shares selected in the browse. The data described here is the same that was registered. The initial and final share numbers, type, name of holder, etc.
• Target Data - Refers to the transfer data. Here you must inform the shares to be transferred, to whom, etc.
2. Fill in the Target fields according to the field's help instructions.
3. Check the information and confirm.
