How to Register Perspectives

Each strategy can be based on many perspectives, such as financing, clients, internal, learning and growing processes, methodology standard. You can register other perspectives, if necessary, but this is rare because only an expert in methodology implementation is allowed to create new perspectives.

On the Strategy screen, Perspectives folder, define the Perspectives to be used and order them. This order defines the importance of each in the strategy and its influence in the Strategic Map view.

Procedures

To register a new perspective:

1.	In the tree, choose a Strategy.

The System displays a screen with the selected strategy.

2.	Click perspectives and then New.

The system displays the addition screen.

3.	Enter perspective data, such as: name, description and order.

4.	Click Save to save the information.

The System displays the perspectives registered on the menu. The System activates the Goals folder for the next step, which is to define the goals of each registered perspective.

5.	You can use the Operational option to control a Perspective outside its strategic environment; that is, not as a part of the strategy (such as map, dashboards, reports, etc). Thus, you can monitor the operational perspective without influencing strategy.
