How to Register Goals and Targets
Procedures
To register goals and targets:
| 1. | In the Maintenance window of the chosen Indicator, select Goals. |
The System displays the screen of selected folder.
| 2. | Select New. |
The system displays the addition screen.
| 3. | Enter goal data, such as: name, description, date (final date to achieve goal), and person in charge of goal. If you want to schedule this goal, check existing option. Example of Fractional Goal: You can create 12 monthly fractional goals and a yearly non-fractional goal. Thus, for each month of the year, you may compare results with the monthly goal and also with the yearly goal. |
| 4. | Check and confirm the data. |
| 5. | Now define the targets, which are value ranges for indicator evaluations, which generate the Scorecards and consequently the Dashboard. |
You must define values for each range of color: red, yellow, green and blue. The default definition of the ranges is as follows:

Area in which goals are far from being achieved.
| • | Yellow |
Area in which goal achievement is below expectations.
| • | Green |
Area in which goal achievement is as expected.
| • | Blue |
Area in which goal achievement surpassed expectations.
| 6. | In the Notes folder, describe the reason for your goal specification. In this field you can save texts. |
| 7. | Click Save to save the information. |
