Parameters

Protheus  uses in its routines some generic and specific configurations named parameters.

A parameter is a variable that works as a key element in some procedure execution. According to its content, different results are possible.

Position and Salary module uses many parameters and some of them are common to other system modules. If they are changed, configuration is still valid for other system modules.

Some parameters are only generic configuration, for example: peripheral configuration as printers, opening dates, currency names etc.

Check in list below which one must be adjusted.
