Requirements

SIGADW uses the same platform of the System. However, you should have an exclusive server for its use, with binaries, RPOs, and data dictionary also exclusive, with at least 1 GB RAM memory and stations with a memory of 512 MB or more.

You should also have an exclusive database server with at least 1 GB RAM memory.

These indications of hardware are only informative. You must make a survey of amount of data, number of users, SGDB used, and other factors to determine the necessary infrastructure, including storage modes, physical/logical network, number and model of CPUs.

Data warehouse must be generated in a relational database server.Therefore, it cannot be created in databases such as Paradox or Dbase.

Databases' space is measured according to information to be provided by the cube during deployment. TOTVS | DBAccess manages the saving of data in this database.

Before running SIGADW, System environment used in the configuration must have been run in some System module in this environment. It is necessary to create the whole platform of the system that is used in SIGADW.

Each SIGADW environment should be in a different database. It is entered in AppServer.ini.

To use SIGADW, you must acquire Protheus® I Licenses and specific licenses for TOTVS | DbAcess. Licenses used for ERP modules of the System are not used for SIGADW and will not work with it.

In stations, a homologated and installed web browser must exist. Homologated web browsers are currently Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.5 version. The configuration of this homologated browser must enable JavaScript commands and the use of cookies.

The software Java Virtual Machine® of Sun Microsystems, version 1.5 or higher, must be installed. If you did not install it or if you are not sure if the software was installed, access http://www.java.com/ or http://java.sun.com/ for download, installation, and additional information.

For the right deployment of SIGADW, the one in charge of the deployment must know all the concept of modeling of data warehouse and datamarts because, without it, the right use of the tool is not possible.
