Virtual Fields
New fields/indicators that can be created in each query are called virtual. The creation process of virtual fields in the query is identical to the creation of virtual fields in the cube.
If you want to create a new virtual field, click New. The creation process is identical to the one shown in the cube - virtual field.
Virtual indicator is available on screens of chart or table definitions, equal to any other indicator. Virtual fields created for the cube used by the query are also available for chart or table definition.
Click Next to define filters for this query.
Try to use the creation of virtual fields in the cube as much as you can. Remember virtual fields created in the cube are automatically reproduced for queries that use the cube. |
