Defining Selection Filter

During table execution, you can define a type of specific filter called Selection.

In this type, you can do filters extremely fast, based on values presented in DW concerning attributes selected in the table. This type of filter is available in table execution  and the configurations are not saved.

Creating a Selection Filter in the table:

1. Run the Table.

2. At the upper part of table execution, click the Selection tab.

3. All attributes and indicators presented in the cube are displayed. To choose values ​​for the filter, click (...).

4. Choose values for the filter. Click OK.

Note that value (s) now appears (appear) in the box of the respective attribute/indicator.

5. Click Send.

Filter is immediately applied to the table.
