Dependents

This routine registers the employee dependents.

The system considers \"dependents\" as people who have a family relationship with the employee, such as spouse, children, etc.

Dependent data are important because they directly influence the Payroll calculation because the content of the fields Dep. Income Tax and Dep. Fam. Allow. from Employee Register is checked to calculate Income Tax and Family Allowance.

Note:

These fields are automatically updated with information from the Dependent register.

 

 

Exclusively in Brazil, the Dependent register inexistence does not hinder the calculation of Income Tax or Family Allowance, since the number of dependents can be directly entered in the Employee Register.

However the Employee Register does not control legal documents regarding the Family Allowance calculation, such as:

Birth Certificate;
Annual show of mandatory vaccination statement;
Proof of attendance to child's school or associate.

Procedures

Registering the employee dependents:

1. In Dependents, select Add.
2. In the field IR eSocial Deo. of eSocial enter according to Federal Revenue  dependents official table.
3. Fill out data according to help instructions.
4. Check data and confirm them.
