Night Schedule

This concept applies only to the Electronic Attendance Control module.

Night schedule is from 22:00 to 5:00. Each 52.5 minutes worked during night schedule correspond to 1 hour.

The difference in minutes (7.5 min), between a night and a regular schedule corresponds to the night increase.

Example:

An employee works from 22:00 to 5:00.

Even though he actually worked for 7hours, these hours are converted into 8 worked hours (7 hours actually worked and 1 additional hour) and shift differential will be calculated on them.

Note that the employee has 8 worked hours:

Night hours: 07h
Night Increase: 01h
Shift Differential 08h

For these cases, the attendance control identifier 037A - Authorized Night Increase is to be used, so as to highlight the night increase for the configured shift, as long as the Only Night Inc. field is configured as Yes in the Attendance Control Information Tab.

Important:

Night overtime has no night increase. This way, shift differential on overtime will apply on the total overtime calculated.
