Protheus system manages company documents including preparation, review, acceptance, ratification and other processes.

Procedures
To add documents:
| 1. | On Documents maintenance window, select Add. |
System displays add window subdivided into folders to enable information management:
| 2. | To define users responsible for documents distribution click Distributors and fill out fields according to field help instructions. |
| 3. | To finish inclusion click To Finish Document in Folder Options after filling data required. |
| 4. | System displays question Finish Document? |
Answer Yes and confirm it.
If information such as document, people in charge, addressee definition and others are not duly registered, System will not allow you to finish document. You will have to select Let Document Pending until information is collected and entered in register. |
| 5. | You can select in menu: |
| • | Detail |
| 6. | Document canceling must follow some configuration in Cancel. |
1 = Yes (System forces you to attach external documents); 2 = No (System does not force you to attach external documents);
