Tools

In this option, the tools to be used in the resources (machines) must be registered. Tool is a complementary element to the Resource used.

Allocation is only performed in a Resource in a specific period if there are available tools in this same period. Unlike Resources, registration of several tools that are the same is made by indicating the number of available tools, and not registering alternative tools.

Specific Concepts

Asset maintenance module

For Asset Maintenance Module, in this option, the tools to be used by maintenance staff and the available amounts must be registered.

Procedures

Adding tools:

1.	In Tools, select Add.

The Add screen is displayed.

2.	Fill out data according to field help instructions.

3.	Check data and confirm the inclusion.

SIGAPCP (Production Planning and Control) is integrated with SIGADPR (Product Developer) by enabling the parameter MV_INTDPR=1. When an operation of inclusion, change or deletion is made in SIGAPCP, it is replicated in SIGADPR module.

Shop Floor Integration

With integration, the tool data (PCP) are copied to the SFC resource register.
