How to configure the Protheus SMS sending mashup

Product:

Microsiga Protheus

Versions:

11 and 12

Step by step:

Protheus allows data to be sent via SMS through the Mashups service. It is necessary to have an account with an SMS provider (further information on the link: http://tdn.totvs.com.br/display/public/LRM/SMS+Corporativo+Via+Mashup).

Here are the steps to set up the Protheus provider account and configure the mashup.

- Access Configurator > Environment > Registers > Mashups

- In the Mashups screen, click Include.

- Click Other Actions > Mashups.

- Select the TOTVS Mashup - Send SMS and click Save.

- In Alias, select the table that will use the Mashup. The example uses table SA1.

- Click Other Actions > Parameters.

Parameter screen:

Below are the required parameter settings. Remember that in this example uses Source as User, so that the data is entered by the user the moment it calls Mashup, but it can be set as System and get information from the table.

- Parameter 01 (PROVIDER) must have "Object Type" as Combo to display a ComboBox selection of SMS service providers. Source must be set as User.

- Parameter 02 (USER) refers to the User name of the SMS provider account.

- Parameter 03 (PASSWORD) refers to the Password of the SMS provider account.

- Parameter 04 (PHONE) refers to the RECIPIENT’S Phone Number. Use the Area Code + Number format, such as: 1199887766.

- Parameter 05 (SENDER) refers to the SENDER’S Phone Number. Use the Area Code + Number format, such as: 1199775533.

- Parameter 06 (MESSAGE) refers to the SMS message to be sent.

After setting up the required parameters, click Save then Save again. You have created the mashup service.

To check the operation of the SMS mashup in the routine, access a module that contains the table used in the setting of the routine. In the example, you see the routine Customers > Include. Click Other Actions > Mashups.

Click TOTVS - Send SMS.

Fill in the data according to the Parameters settings and click Save.

If the settings are correct, a green check symbol will appear next to the Mashup.
