Speaking of filtering access by external IPs...

The external IP access filter allows you to block access to the company domain in Identity to all external IP addresses except those explicitly cleared by the administrator.

If the user is already logged on to an application, the session remains active even if the Identity access filter has been enabled and the external IP used by the user has not been registered by the administrator.

Important

This feature is aimed only at restricting access via external IP. Internal IP addresses will not be blocked by this setting.

Enable access filtering by external IPs

01. Click the Settings icon in the upper right corner and select the Security option.

02Access the Filter Access by external IPs feature.

By default, the External IP Access Filter feature will be disabled in the context. Before enabling the feature, you need to register at least one external IP.

03. In the text field, enter the address or range of allowed IPs and click the Add button.

To add an IP address range, use the following pattern: 192.168.4.[0-10]. The format "192.168.4. [0-10]" indicates that all IP addresses between 192.168.4.0 and 192.168.4.10 will have access to the company in Identity.

To add the IP being used by the logged-in user, click the Add current button.

04. Check the Enable External IP Access Filter option.

When the filter is enabled, only accesses from registered IP addresses will be allowed to log in. Other addresses will be rejected and will not be able to access the context.

Attention

If the user is already logged in to an application, this session remains active even if the Identity access filter has been enabled and the external IP used by the user has not been registered.

Remove IP

01. Locate the IP address or range to remove.

02. Next to the text field, click the Delete button.
