Attention

Google will discontinue Universal Analytics on July 1, 2023, and replace it with Google Analytics 4.

This means that your company's data on the TOTVS Fluig Platform will no longer be collected, and, in order for you to be able to continue measuring Fluig accesses using Google Analytics 4, a new Google Analytics 4 property must be created and configured on the TOTVS Fluig Platform.

We recommend that the new property be set up before the deactivation deadline according to the steps described in this documentation.

Please note: for the setup to work as expected, the Fluig platform must be on release 1.8.0-040423 or higher.

Purpose

The purpose of this documentation is to demonstrate the initial steps for configuring the integration of TOTVS Fluig Platform with Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a free server monitoring tool that provides precise information on usage per request, among other data. With it, you can find out who is using the

server at the moment, practically in real time, depending on your connection.

Sign Up for Google Analytics

To sign up for Google Analytics, you need to create or own a Google Account (the same account used to access Google services such as Gmail, YouTube, Play Store, etc.). Once the account has been created, you can follow the steps below.

The screenshots below may differ from what is shown due to possible updates from Google.

    • After logging in, you will see the page below.
    • Click Start using.

    • You will see the Account setup section.

Remember that even if the information is unchecked, some Google products can still verify information from your Google Analytics account unless they are manually deactivated via the "Product Linking" option.

    • At this point, you should set up the user's account name, a unique identifier for the Google Analytics account.
    • On this same page, you can also tell Google if you want to allow them to access the information in your Google Analytics account in any way.
    • Click Next to continue the setup.

    • You will see the Property setup section.
    • At this point, you should set the property name, a facilitator for identifying the address being monitored.
    • Click Next to continue the setup.

    • You will see the About your company section.
    • At this point, you should configure the data according to the size of the company and its objectives.
    • Click Create to finish the setup.

    • You will see the Terms of Service
    • Click Accept to continue.

    • After accepting the Terms of Service, a new screen will appear. Click Web.

    • Next, enter the URL of the site and the Flow Name and click on Create Flow.

    • Copy the Metric ID shown on the Flow Details screen and then click Manage connected site tags.

    • Paste the copied ID and enter a nickname on the screen that appears. Next, click Connect.

Enter the Google Analytics user on the TOTVS Fluig Platform

With the tracking ID in hand, access the Fluig Platform with a company administrator user.

      • Go to Control panel → group Technical parametersGoogle Analytics User.

      • Enter the tracking ID in the Token field.
      • Click Save. The integration will be active, and Fluig will now inform Google Analytics of its HTTP requests, allowing it to monitor the server and access some privileged information, such as accesses and requests, in timely fashion.

To disable the sending of information in the future, simply check option Disable Google Analytics and click Save.
