Pools
They allow the grouping of lanes. They usually represent an organization, an industry or merely the process that is being designed.
Swimlanes
They represent a partition within the pool. They can represent different departments of an organization that performs different activities within a workflow process.
Grouping
Another form of grouping activities. It can represent tasks that require a joint effort from different sectors of an organization (which have already been divided into swimlanes).
Annotation
It allows the process modeler to add explanatory notes to make it easier for everyone involved to understand the process.
Document
It allows the modeler to attach to a diagram a document previously posted on Fluig so that it can be consulted during the execution phase of a process.
Database
It symbolizes the input and output of data from an external database. This database could belong to an ERP system that is integrated with Fluig, for example.
