Installation of memecached

The installation of memcached on distributions based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux is executed automatically. This requires internet connection.

If memcached is already installed, the existing installation will be used.

Step by step installation

Attention

  • It is mandatory that the installation of TOTVS Fluig Platform be carried out using the user root or a user that has the privileges of package installation and services change.
  • Also, in order to execute the installation, you need Linux GUI.


Next, see step by step installation of TOTVS Fluig Platform in Linux:

    On the first screen, select the installation media language.

    In Terms of Use, the product license agreement is displayed with the terms of use, copyright and recommendations for the execution of installation, which should be read carefully.

    Flag information:when this option is checked the user agrees with the product license agreement terms. 

    To proceed, check the ”I agree with this license agreement” option and then click Next.

    In Fluig installation, inform whether to install or update Fluig. Keep the Install Fluig option checked.

    In Installation directory, type the product target directory.

    By default, the installation folder is: <directory of optional applications>/fluig. For example, /opt/fluig.

    On the Server data screen, the IP address field is automatically filled in. Check if it is the main IP.

    Example: A server with several network cards can select the wrong desired IP, for that reason, you can change it manually. If the IP is correctly configured, you don't need to update the field.

    On this screen, select the database that is most suitable for your needs.

    Important

     The database management system should be installed and the database or instance should be created according to supplier’s specifications.


    In this step, provide data to connect to the database. Each database has a unique connection configuration, check below the required information for each database and use the guide regarding the previously selected database:

      For the MySQL database, you need to download MySQL Driver, according to details in MySQL database settings.

      For a MySQL database, you need to provide the following data:

      • Driver file: provide the path to MySQL driver;
      • User: user used for connection to database;
      • Password: user password used for connection to database;
      • Server: server address;
      • Port: server logical port;
      • Database: database name;



      For a Microsoft SQL Server database, you need to provide the following data:

      • User: user used for connection to database;
      • Password: user password used for connection to database;
      • Server: server address;
      • Port: server logical port;
      • Database: database name;
      • Instance: SQL Server instance name;

      For an Oracle database, you need to provide the following data:

      • User: user used for connection to database;
      • Password: user password used for connection to database;
      • Server: server address;
      • Port: server logical port;
      • Database: Database instance SID (Oracle System Identifier);

      In Email settings, the fields are not mandatory. You can provide the SMTP server address, SMTP port and sender email for notification of actions performed in Fluig.

      If the SMTP server requires authentication, you need to check the Server requires authentication option and provide a valid user and password.

      In License server, type the license server address and license server port in order to enable the product for use. 

      Important: The values automatically filled in are only a suggestion.

      On the Chat server screen, type the chat server address, the chat server port, the Realtime port. The server address used for product installation can be used for setting up the chat feature.

      Important: If you want the chat server and the installation server to be the same, the chat server URL must have the same IP as the one provided in the IP address field of the Server data screen.

      On the Cache Server settings screen, you can configure the server that will store Fluig cache data. In the Cache Server URL field, type the Cache Server address.

      On the Fluig Identity settings screen, check the Enable authentication with Fluig Identity option if you want to use authentication with other applications. Provide the Fluig Identity URL, Fluig Identity API URL,  Security key and Identity company domain.



      After check is complete, click Next.

      In this step, the installer provides the packages that will be installed. Then the installer checks compatibility of software components existing on the server and prepares installation with the previously informed data.

      The files will be copied to the installation target folder. After completing the installation process, click Next.

      In this step, the installer displays execution of external processes and a report on product installation. Click Next.


      Some Linux distributions do not have the command chkconfig causing a warning stating that the command was not found during the execution of external processes of the installation. If this occurs click Yes in the open dialog box to continue with the installation process.

      TOTVS Fluig Platform installation completed successfully. Click Done to finish.

      Firewall exception

      If the server where Fluig was installed has an active firewall, you must add exceptions for the following ports used by Fluig:

      • Application server port of Fluig;
      • Server port for Realtime;
      • Chat server port.
