Use fewer resources on the server.

We have cleaned up the components that we use, and now everything that was done before is done with less RAM and less disk space. One example is the Fluig Installer 1.3, which has 30% less MB than the previous version. 

Faster 
Perform quicker actions.

We have revised a number of Fluig features to make them faster for you. The search was optimized to bring faster results, and to allow the user to quickly narrow his/her search. The posts now feature faster loading time, as does the initial page.

Compatibility with Oracle data bank 
Install the Fluig platform using your Oracle data bank.

One of the new features of version 1.3 is the possibility of using Fluig with the Oracle 10gR2 data bank. Now, in addition to the MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server data banks, you can also use Oracle! For more information, click here.

Easy to install in high-availability environments
Execute the Fluig platform without having to configure platform-specific distributed transaction.

With data bank administrators in mind, we have made distributed transactions (XAtransactions) easier in Fluig. Now, you no longer need to install external DLLs on your server to be able to use Fluig with Microsoft SQL Server data bank.

Yes, we have tasks!
Now you don’t have to go to your e-mail account to request and monitor everyday tasks.

During your daily routine, you may be faced with tasks that need to be executed by you and your team. With the fast pace of this routine, tracking the status and prioritizing these activities may prove to be a challenge. 
With that in mind, we have created the concept of tasks in Fluig 1.3, so that you and your team can create pending tasks, and be easily aware of what is being done, by whom, and when it will be ready. Stop managing your team’s activities through e-mail: use Fluig!
To make it even easier, Fluig 1.3 features a "List Tasks" process, which your team can already access. This process already uses concept of tasks (what we call Ad-hoc). This process is an example of what can be done with this new concept of tasks. Feel free to use it in your processes.

More powerful forms generator!
More power and flexibility in process modeling.

Yes. You asked for it, and we listened. Now, with the new rules engine, you can create new types of rules, such as comparing a value of a field with individual or combined values of other fields. New options for initial value for fields such as logged in user, workflow request code and current date have also been created. Change the behavior of the fields by changing their on the screen and add fill masks.

 We have also made it so that before the form is released, the user can see how it will operate, and test the rules for filling out the form.

Themes for forms
Blue? Green? Fuchsia? Create the theme you want to apply to your forms.
Creating forms in Fluig is very easy. And now, in Fluig 1.3, you can create forms with a custom theme! In addition to choosing custom colors for the form, you can use the company logo, define it as default theme, and much more. Create innovative forms! New infrastructure items for forms

New manipulation techniques for detail records (parent-child) were created for form events and for mobile forms. Also, new techniques for the use of masks in customized forms were developed.

Fluig Meetings 
Create online meetings to discuss your Fluig documents

Fluig Meetings is quick and easy: just choose a document posted on Fluig and start the meeting. Just invite your team and a virtual room is created, where users can take notes and discuss a document. During the meeting, in addition to using your voice, you can share your screen while you edit the document on your computer. 
After concluding the meeting, you don’t even have to draft the minutes. Everything that is discussed during the meeting, including notes and video to replay the meeting, is available as an attachment in the document. 
Fluig Meetings is available for free to all Fluig users, with limitations of use (check out all the plans available here). To enable Fluig Meetings, follow the configuration guide.

Faster page editing
Editing pages is now much easier

One of the main responsibilities of WCM is to allow page editing, and now in version 1.3, this feature is more powerful. The main new feature is the new way to select New Widgets: now they are sorted by type and have an icon and description to help select the best widget for your pages.

With this version of Fluig, it became even easier to manage your widgets on a page. You can change the location of the widget, moving it around the page via drag'n drop, gaining more productivity and agility when creating or editing a page.

You spend hours and hours designing your page on Fluig, defining the layout, widgets and content, and, when you see ... Where is the widget to indicate an area? 
In this version of the Fluig, each edition creates a new version of the page. This allows greater control over the changes and the possibility of restoring an old version, should the page be changed by mistake and an important widget removed. 
And, don't worry: you can make changes to the page in draft mode. Later, just finish the changes and make them available to all users who have access to the page.

You will never lose widgets on your pages. Trust me: 

New features in Fluig Studio

Now, when developing widgets and layout through Fluig Studio, you can accelerate the development by using Code Completion (for .ftl files and javascript). Code Completion helps development, as it displays information on methods and services available on the Fluig platform, within Fluig Studio itself.
