Speaking of Watermark...
For the platform, a watermark is a text to be applied on a document, enabling the control of documents. On the platform, the watermark can be applied when viewing, downloading, and printing files with the following extensions: HTML, JPG, PNG, XML, CSV, ODT, DOC, DOCX, ODS, XLS, and XLSX.
Add watermark
01. In the main menu, click Control Panel, then check Customization container and click Watermark.
02. Click Add.
03. Enter the watermark code.
04. Enter the watermark description.
05. Enter the watermark text.
06. Define the position.
Position is the location where the watermark will be entered in the document:
- Header: the watermark is placed in the document upper part.
- Body: the watermark is placed in the document center.
- Footer: The watermark is placed in the document lower part.
07. Define the rotation.
The rotation modifies the axis of the watermark that will be applied to the document. It is entered in degrees.
E.g.: If the desired angle you want is 50°, enter 50.
08. Define the variables to be displayed.
It is possible to add variables that will be added along with the watermark:
- Date: adds in the text the document printing date.
- Printed by: adds in the text the name of the user who printed the document.
- Time: adds in the text the document printing time.
09. Click Save.
Attention
The Watermark feature does not work on PDF, TXT, PPTX, JPG, and PNG extensions. We recommend using this feature in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel files.
Edit Watermark
01. Select the Watermark you want to edit.
02. Click Edit.
03. Modify the selected Watermark information.
The system does not allow you to modify the code field.
04. Click Confirm.
Delete Watermark
01. Select the Watermark you want to delete.
02. Click Delete.
03. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
