Speaking of approving attempts...

To prevent students performing the same topic item countless times, it is possible to set it to block the access after a certain number of attempts. The topic items that allow the configuration blocking are the evaluation and the training, that are defined when you create them.

When the class has topic items that can be locked, it is necessary to define a person responsible in class or in the subject to free the access to them after depleting the number of allowed attempts.

In approving the attempted execution of a topic item, the student will be able to only run it once more. If you want to run again, you must wait for a new approval.

After the first run, you cannot change the number of attempts allowed for the topic item. In this case, you can remove the attempts restriction of item execution, which will cause the execution to be no longer blocked.



Approve attempts

01. After accessing the class whose execution attempts of topic items you wish to approve, click the tab Approve attempts.

02. View all topics that have locked items.



Filter topics

01. Click Filter options, located in the upper left corner of the window.

02. Enter the name of the topic to be searched.

03. Press Search. To undo the set filter and view all topics again, press Clear.

04. View the topics according to the defined filter.



Filter topic items or users

01. Select the topic to which the item belongs.

02. Click Filter options, located in the upper left corner of the window.

03. Enter the name of the user or topic item to be searched.

04. Press Search. To undo the set filter and view all topic items and users again, press Clear.

05. View topic items or users according to the defined filter.



Approve execution attempt of topic item

01. Select the topic to which the item belongs.

02. Select the student whose new execution attempt of topic item will be approved.

03. Press Approve new attempt.

You can also approve execution attempts for all students and topic items at once by selecting the topic and directly pressing Approve new attempt. 



Remove restriction of attempts

01. Select the topic to which the item belongs.

02. Select the student that will have the restriction imposed on execution attempts of a topic item removed.

03. Press Remove restriction of attempts.

It is also possible to remove the restriction imposed on execution attempts for all students and topic items at once by selecting the topic and directly pressing Remove restriction of attempts.
