Speaking of notices...

Notices are registered releases to be presented to students of certain classes/subjects.

For the notifications to be displayed to students, add the Notifications widget to a page they can access – the Home page, for example.

For more information on how to add the Notifications widget to a page, go to Edit page.

This feature allows access to notification management settings.



View notices


01. In the main menu, place the mouse over Learning.

02. Click Notices.

03. View issued or scheduled notices. You can find a specific notification through the Search field located in the upper right corner of the window.



Add notice


01. Select New.

02. Enter the required notice information.

Required information:

Name
Name of the notice to be displayed to students.

Start date
Date on which the notice must be displayed to students.

End date
Date until which the notice must be displayed to students.

Priority
Priority of the notice to be displayed to students. Available options are:

  • High;
  • Medium;
  • Low.

Message
Content of the notice to be displayed to students.

03. Select Add in the selected classes/subjects table.

04. In the Classes/Subjects window, enter the name of the subject or the class to which the notice must be displayed.

05. In the displayed list, select the subject/class in which the notice must be displayed.

You may define more than one subject/class for which the notice must be displayed.

06. Select Add.

To delete a subject/class entered, select it and press Delete. 

07. Press Save; or Cancel to cancel the notice’s inclusion, if desired.



Edit notice


01. Select the notice to be edited.

02. Press Edit.

03. Change the desired information. Information regarding the fields displayed can be obtained in the alternate path ‘add notice’.

04. Press Save or Cancel to discard changes made, if desired.



Delete notice


01. Select the notice to be deleted.

02. Press Delete.

03. In the displayed confirmation message, click Yes.
