Speaking of widget permissions...

This feature allows you to manage permissions for user access to the widget, as well as to assign permissions to groups, roles or users.

When defining widget permissions on a page, they are applied only for the widget on that page. If the permissions must be reflected on all the pages where the widget exists, you must access the Control Panel, General tab, Permissions, and define the desired permissions for that widget.

It is important to note that, in order to edit the widget permissions on a page, you must have permission to edit the page

In order to edit the widget permissions on a page, you must have permission to edit the page. This feature allows you to manage permissions for user access to the widget, as well as to assign permissions to groups, roles or users. By default, the widget takes on the same permissions as the page to which it is allocated. These permissions, which can be customized for each widget individually, through a "Permission" button that is displayed for each widget when a page is being created/edited. It is important to remember that the permissions changed for a widget that is allocated on a page only affect the widget in question. To change the permission for all widgets of one same type, you must access the Control Panel, General permissions tab, and define the permissions you wish for this widget type. On public pages, all widgets on the page are visible, regardless of the access level configured for each one. However, care must be taken with which widgets are added to a public page, because its behavior can vary or even lead to errors, as some widgets use logged user information.
