  • Additional Entry - Peru (CTBA020 - SIGACTB)

Additional entry allows configuring accounts that require accounting entries in other groups, and allows indicating which accounts are used to complement the entry.

The current law in Peru uses a single account plan which must be adopted by companies. An account group which may be used freely, called group 9, is also used, but the entries in accounts in this group must be registered in accounts of the main groups, more specifically, in groups 6 and 79, that is, the entry must have amounts in the entry account and in the offset account.

Procedures

To add a chart of accounts with additional entries:

  1. In Chart of Accounts, hit [F12] to configure the parameters involved in the routine.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Fill out data according to field help instructions.

Pay attention to the fields:

  • Addit. Entry: enter whether the account belongs to the free group (group 9).
  • Entry Account: enter the entry account for additional entries.
  • Offset Account: enter the offset account for additional entries.

Important:

Origin of additional entry is always the main entry.

  • Additional entries are done as double entries, so entry accounts and offset accounts must always be indicated.
  • Entry and offset accounts cannot require additional entries.
  • Additional entries cannot be edited or deleted directly. These transactions must be carried out in the main entries and are reflected in the corresponding additional entries.
