  • Knowledge Base (MATA030 - SIGAFAT)

The Knowledge Base is a base of general data stored in files. It may contain images, texts, spreadsheets or any type of file containing information relevant to the system.

For example, in the Clients register it is possible to attach the industrial equipment sales contract to a client.

When adding a file in the Knowledge Base, the system creates a backup copy of the file. Thus, if a file included in the Knowledge Base is deleted from the source directory, the system does not change.



Procedures

Adding a file to the knowledge base, taking the clients register as example:

1. In Clients, click Related Features and select the Knowledge option.

The add screen is opened.

2. Fill out the fields according to field help instructions.

3. Check data and confirm the association of the file with the clients register.
