Transportation Management (MATA030 - SIGAFAT)

In the Transportation Management module, it is important to pay attention to some specifications for registering the client, such as the need of filling out the following fields: Postal Code, Area Code, Phone No., Risk and Industry. 

It is also possible to register a generic client to be used in a negotiation to handle occasional cases.

Generic Client

The generic client is used when the requested transport client is not found.

The system searches for the generic client code in the following routines:

• Client Contract

This register contains the freight table to apply.

• Customer Profile

This register contains data for generation of invoices and for calculating freight.

• Consignees

This register contains sender, recipient, consignee, and freight debtor and others; streamlining the entry of invoices.

Example of generic client registration:

Besides, in the Configurator, the content of the MV_CLIGEN parameter must be updated with the code of the generic client/store to be used in the generic contracts of the Transportation Management module.

It is important to fill out the following fields:

• Zip Code

This field used for determining the sequence of delivery.

Delivery sequence can be determined by client or postal code order. When both fields are indicated - Client and Postal Code - in the Points per Sector register, the client has the priority.

• Area Code and Phone Number

These fields are used to identify the transportation requestor in the Pick-up Request and Requestor Register.

• Payment Term
• Risk

In the Transport Management module, risk analysis is carried out during the processing of the Freight Calculation routine. If the client's credit is not approved, the system does not generate the CTRC (Road Waybill) and blocks the credit request.

• Industry

Filling out this field is important for the system to find the Smart TIO to apply to the freight calculation.

For registering the generic client, the registers associated with it must be properly filled out: Clients Register, Register of Taxation Rules per Client and Register of Taxation Rules.
