This routine allows the addition, edition, deletion and disclosure of prices, granting full control of the processes involved. It also allows two users to simultaneously access the same Price Table. The Price disclosure stage occurs prior to the creation of a sales price table, when the disclosing user may structure the prices of the products pertaining to the disclosure at any time.

Important:

To run this routine, a Branch Register in the System is required.

The Price Disclosure also defines some variables, that is, the Pricing Items, which may affect the price composition of a product, such as: % IPI tax, Management Expenses, Markup, etc.

On the other hand, the Pricing Items are associated to a Category aggregated to the Product register. The Category is regarded as an assembly that uses given Pricing Items to manage product prices.

Example:

Different pricing policies for distinct regions. The Southeast Region Category has products A, B and C with IPI and Markup pricing items. Whereas the South Region Category has products B and D with the Management Expense, ICMS and Margin pricing items.

The MV_TPEFETP parameter defines the execution type of the disclosure:

1 - Incremental. Addition of Products to Price Table, with editing.

2 – Restrictive. Only Products of Disclosure, editing restricted.

The Price Disclosure information are related to some criteria:

  • Pricing Worksheet: you must add the pricing items needed to structure the price suggested in the Price Disclosure. Use the Pricing routine to create pricing spreadsheet versions, with a historical record of the formulae used, of structure components and the amounts employed for the specified cost.
  • Pricing Items per Category vs. Product: allows the selection of a Pricing Spreadsheet and a Category (with certain products and pricing items), as well as the handling of pricing item values to structure product prices. The amounts here defined are used in the Price Disclosure routine to generate a new Price Table with the branch group already selected, finalizing the pricing process. In the pricing process, the MV_HCATSUP parameter indicates that products and pricing items of Categories above the selected Category are inherited.
  • Branch Groups: gathers branches of a single region to apply to them the same formula and disclose the selling price.
  • Products and Product Indicator: find in these registers the Markup % fields in which you may define and save the markup percentage of the product. The MV_REVPLAN parameter defines whether to use review control for Pricing Spreadsheets.
  • Product Log Control Fields: the Product Log Control Fields routine is used to define the log fields of the Product register. The MV_USALOGP parameter identifies whether to use the product log.
  • Product Log: supplies Product register administrators and their complements with edition event data about such entities, such as: amount previous to edition, current amount, user in charge, date and time. Besides the log record, the Product Log report is also available for following up on such events.
  • Service and Assisted Sales: during a sale in Point of Sales or Store Control, a feature is available to identify showcase/closeout sale items from regular sale items.
  • Price History Report: creates a detailed report of price changes based on Price Disclosure

Important:

In the Sales Order the MV_GREGNEG parameter indicates whether, at the POS, a Price Table and Payment Terms should be suggested from the Business Rule.

In the Cat x Prod binding, the use of the following parameters is considered:

  • MV_LJCATGP: activates an extra Product Group of a Category in the structure.
  • MV_LJCATRG: activates an extra Ref. Grid of a Category in the structure.
