Consult the correct documentation:
This documentation refers to the new process editor of the platform. If you are using the current process editor, access Configure activities and flows.
Speaking of the End component...
The End component indicates the completion of the process flow. Every process must have at least one end.
The final stage of the process is not assigned to any person, as it is merely a visual indication that the request has been addressed and completed. By default, no post-processing is done after the request is finalized.
Note:
You can only perform post-processing after finalizing the request with developments on the platform.
Configuring the End component
01. In the process diagram, click the End component you wish to configure.
The available settings are displayed on the right side.
02. Define the desired information for the component that represents the end of the process; that is, where the request is considered addressed and finalized.
Title
Name to identify the end of the process.
EXAMPLE
In a Vacation Request process, the end could be named Scheduled Vacation, indicating that the request has been addressed and finalized.
Follow-up
Who should be notified when the request reaches this stage; that is, when it is finalized. The available options are:
- Notify requester: when checked, it determines that a notification about the finalization of the request is sent to the requester.
- Notify manager: when checked, it determines that a notification about the finalization of the request is sent to the process manager.
Important!
Regardless of the selected options, the notification is not sent to the person who performed the action.
EXAMPLE 1
A person moves the request to a stage where they are the responsible party. Even if the Notify person responsible option is checked, they will not receive the notification, as they performed the action themselves.
EXAMPLE 2
The process manager moves the request (as responsible or manager) to a stage where the Notify manager option is checked. In this case, they will not receive the notification; only the other managers of the process will receive it.
The same applies to all types of notifications, including that of a substitute.
EXAMPLE
If person A is the substitute for person B and moves the request to a stage where person B is responsible, person A (substitute) will not be notified. Only person B and other substitutes for them will be notified.
Note:
You can send notifications in the Notification Center or via email, depending on how the sending options are configured in the personal profile, as well as which options are available for use in the company, which may have been configured globally – for all companies – or by company.
03. Click Save draft – located on the right side of the top bar – to save the settings made in the End component.
04. In the message displayed, click Ok, I understand.
Attention!
This documentation is valid from the Voyager (2.0) update onwards. If you are using a previous update, it may contain information different from what you see on your platform.
