  • Saving the exchange variation apportionment

When the exchange rate variation is apportioned, the system writes a record in table SE5 (Bank transactions), with field E5_TIPODOC = VM (Indexation). This record is linked to the bill but makes no change to its balance since it is made only to account for the change in the period. Now, within the new table structure of the FKx family, this process will be saved:

Example of saving the Exchange variation apportionment process performed via Indexation Accounting (FINA350).

Scenario:

Bill payable added in Dollars, with a rate of the day equal to 4.00.

Accounting of the indexation was performed with a rate of 4.20.

Important: The saving process is the same for both payables and receivables.
